1. The service these terms cover
These Terms of Service describe the conditions for using SingingTest’s browser-based singing tools and written guides. The current service includes reference-note tests, comfortable-range measurements, local recording analysis, and guided pitch exercises. Read these terms together with the Privacy Policy, which explains audio handling, local practice history, and the distinction between local processing and website requests.
These terms apply to the version you are using, not to features that might be offered later. There are currently no user accounts, public recording profiles, subscription plans, payment forms, or cloud libraries. If a future service introduces different features or charges, the relevant terms and price information should be presented before you agree to use or purchase them.
2. Using the tools
You may use the tools for personal practice, learning, and other lawful purposes consistent with these terms. You choose when to start a test and whether to grant microphone access. Use a browser and device that support the relevant audio features. A microphone, headphones, and permission settings are under your control; the service cannot guarantee that every device or audio format will work.
Use the service only if you are able to understand these terms or have appropriate help from a parent or guardian. If you are using a shared device or organizing an activity for others, make sure everyone understands when recording starts, where results appear, and what may remain in the local practice journal. Do not start recording another person without appropriate permission.
3. What the measurements mean
A reference-note test measures how closely detected pitches match the notes supplied by the exercise. It does not evaluate a complete performance. The free-recording analysis reports acoustic features, including held-note steadiness and a detected range, without knowing the melody you intended to sing. Its score is an experimental practice indicator, not a professional rating, an audition decision, or a comparison with famous singers.
A vocal-range label is an approximate comparison with broad reference ranges. It is not a definitive voice classification. Background sound, harmonics, effects, microphone settings, vibrato, register changes, and the detector’s supported frequency range can affect results. Use your own listening and judgment when interpreting them. We do not promise a particular score, a specific rate of improvement, or a successful performance outcome.
4. Keep practice comfortable
The tools and guides provide general practice information, not medical assessment, treatment, or individual professional advice. They do not diagnose vocal conditions or determine whether a technique is safe for a particular person. Stop if an exercise feels painful, strained, or otherwise uncomfortable. Do not keep raising your voice or extending your range simply to change a number on the screen.
Choose exercises that fit your current comfort and abilities. Seek suitable professional advice when you need a personal assessment. A teacher who hears and observes you can offer information that these measurements cannot. A suggested octave, voice-type reference, or practice tip does not override your own comfort or replace an assessment tailored to you.
5. Your recordings and downloaded results
You keep the rights you already have in your recordings and other material. Selecting a file for local analysis does not transfer ownership to SingingTest or grant permission to publish it, sell it, or train a model on it. The current tools do not upload audio or create a public post. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use the material you choose.
You may save the reports generated for your own sessions and use them as practice notes. A downloaded result is not a certificate of ability, identity, health, or professional competence. If you share a report or recording, avoid presenting an experimental metric as a professional judgment, and respect the privacy and rights of anyone whose voice or information appears in it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, unlawfully record, or mislead another person. Do not claim that a score proves someone is unfit to sing or reveals a medical condition. You must not attempt unauthorised access to systems, introduce harmful code, interfere with other users, or deliberately overload the website’s delivery infrastructure.
Ordinary repeat practice is welcome. Automated activity that damages availability, bypasses a stated technical restriction, or uses the site for an unlawful purpose is not. These conditions do not prohibit rights you have under applicable law, such as lawful accessibility tools or legitimate research. If a specific activity needs clarification, use the operator’s published contact channel before relying on an assumption.
7. Website material and attribution
The site’s original interface, written guides, and branding belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party software and fonts remain subject to their own licences. Using the tools does not give you ownership of the SingingTest name or permission to imply that the operator endorses your product, lesson, or performance.
You can link to the site and describe your own experience honestly. Other reuse of protected website material may require permission unless applicable law or an explicit licence allows it. Nothing here changes your rights in your own voice, your original recordings, or factual measurements from your session. A label in a generated report does not create ownership of a musical note or a vocal range.
8. Local history and service availability
The practice journal stores a limited number of summaries in your current browser. It is not a cloud backup or a permanent archive. Browser cleanup, private browsing, device loss, software changes, or storage restrictions can remove that history. Save any report you want to keep in a place you control. The operator cannot restore information that was never sent to the service.
The site may be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems, security needs, or changes to the tools. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser update. Where practical, material changes should be explained clearly. You may stop using the service at any time and remove its local data through the available controls.
9. Pricing and cancellation
The current browser tools are free to use. There is no paid plan to cancel, no recurring charge, and no purchase for which the application offers a refund process. Your own internet or device costs remain your responsibility. A future paid offering would need separate, clear pricing and cancellation information; these terms do not authorise an automatic future charge.
You can cancel an active recording or test using the on-page controls. Cancelling a session does not delete previously downloaded reports or recordings stored elsewhere on your device. Clear history removes the local practice summaries, while your browser’s site-data settings provide broader storage controls. Consult the Privacy Policy for the details of those separate actions.
10. Responsibility and rights that remain yours
The tools are provided as available, with the measurement and compatibility limitations explained above. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide additional warranties about fitness for a particular purpose or the accuracy of every detection. You should not rely on a single result for a consequential decision about yourself or another person.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses fraud or deliberate wrongdoing, or removes mandatory consumer rights. Any limit must be read subject to the law that applies to you. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, require you to waive collective remedies, or choose a court in an undisclosed jurisdiction.
11. Changes and questions
The revision date at the top helps you identify this version of the Terms of Service. Material changes should be explained before a changed feature is used. Terms for a future paid or remotely processed service should be presented separately where appropriate. If you do not wish to use the service under an updated version, you can stop and clear the local data you no longer want.

Give enough context to explain the issue without including unnecessary personal information.
